Craigmount Secure British Title!

Craigmount High School become first Scottish school to win the BSGA Team National Finals!

17th March 2012, Fenton Manor, Stoke on Trent

The Carita House team competition is made up of regional qualifiers from the home nations and 11 regions of England. Teams compete on floor, vault and finish with a group sequence.

The Craigmount girls each produced beautiful floor routines, truly stunning vaults (with a high of 9.8 out of 10) and a superior group sequence to score a total of 100.81, fending off fierce competition from Streatham & Clapham (London region) and Tormead (South East region), who finished 2nd and 3rd place respectively. To see the girls standing on the top of the podium in 1st place with their Scotland flags lifting the Carita House shield was amazing!

Many thanks must go to all of the parents who travelled down, Jenn Mann (Team Manager), the Kirkland High School team, who finished 7th in the plate competition. Finally a massive thank you to Christina Mason, who agreed to travel as our judge at short notice.
