Bullying and Harassment of Scottish Gymnastics Employees

Scottish Gymnastics seeks to ensure that members of staff are treated with dignity and respect during the course of their duties.  Harassing or bullying behaviour outside working hours at social events or events connected to work and the work place will not be tolerated.  In order to ensure the process is clear we have developed a Policy on Bullying and Harassment of Scottish Gymnastics Employees. This Policy comes into effect January 2011.

Media Policy (All forms of Media Including Social Media)

Scottish Gymnastics social media pages are intended to provide an opportunity for positive social interchange and communication between members to promote the wonderful sport of gymnastics. Its has been brought to the Board's attention that a small number of individuals are using this medium to criticise or make derogatory comments about others. That is not acceptable and removes the enjoyment of the media for our members. Please be advised that the media policy regarding negative postings is as below:

Any defamatory, malicious or ill intended postings will be removed from the official SGA social media site[s]. Any member found to have made such postings against an individual, club or organisation on an official SGA site or in any other medium will have their membership of Scottish Gymnastics immediately suspended and may face disciplinary measures, which could result in exclusion from membership.
