Andrew Webb is an International Brevet Judge and has judged at Commonwealth Games and a number of World Cup Events. Andrew has been judging for the last 14 years having worked up the judging ranks from Club Judge through to Brevet and is a Judging Tutor up to National level.
Angela Turner - 'GMPD Preparing a Routine'
Angela Turner is a very successful coach at the City of Glasgow Gymnastics GMPD section. She has also represented Great Britain as a coach for the MA section of the British squad that travelled to Gran Canaria in November 2008.
Brendan Reilly - 'Video Analysis'
Brendan Reilly is a double Olympic athlete and coach, competing for over 10 years in the High Jump. Throughout his competitive career he broke world age records at 15 through to Senior International competition.
Carol Angela Orchard - Women's Artistic 'Basic for the Beam' and 'How to Stay on the Beam Under Pressure'
Carol-Angela Orchard is a professor at Seneca College, Toronto; in the Competitive Gymnastics Coaching Techniques Diploma Programme. Carol-Angela is an FIG International Brevet Coach and holds the highest mark ever granted in the world 97%. She has over 20 years coaching experience with gymnasts competing at Olympic Games, World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games.

Chris Short - 'Teamgym Tumbletrack'
Chris Short is an HPC Teamgym coach from Diamonds GC and is also a BG tutor and assessor. He is an experienced coach who has led teams to medals at the British Finals and is known for developing close links with the Teamgym groups in Scotland.
Colin Gallagher - 'Performance Lifestyle'
Colin Gallagher (Performance Lifestyle Coordinator) has been involved with the SIS and AIS network for around 10 years. Based in Aberdeen, Colin balances his role with also being a guidance teacher at Ellon Academy in Aberdeenshire. Colin has extensive knowledge of the processes and methods to support performance athletes at all levels.

Daniela Nanova - 'The Importance of Choreography for all Gymnasts'
Daniela Nanova is a former Master gymnast in Bulgaria where she competed at International Level. After her competitive career she achieved a Master Coach award in Bulgaria and then an International Performance Coach in Great Britain. Daniella is a former HPC for British Gymnastics where she worked with gymnasts in all disciplines. Daniella was also the chorepgrapher for the "Pirates" show in Majorca.
Fiona McDougall - 'GMPD Judging Update'
Fiona McDougall started the Disabilities Gymnastics in Bellahouston and coached for many years before stopping after her first baby. She qualified as a judge at the last cycle and has judged every Disabilities Competition since.

George Predescu - Men's Artistic 'Getting the Basics Right', 'Mastering the High Bar' and 'Pommels Preparation'.
George Predescu is currently a lecturer in Gymnastics at Loughborough University and has over 35 years of coaching experience, both as a High Performance Coach in Romania, and as a former British National Coach at the inception of the World Class Programme. He is highly regarded as a technical expert in the Sport, having produced many International Gymnasts from GB and abroad, and has published numerous papers that have appeared in technical manuals in the UK and overseas. As a brevetted judge, he is also credited with a deep knowledge of the Code of Points for Men and was, this year, appointed mens coach for the British Team at the World Student Games in Belgrade.
Jackie Archibald - 'Funding Initiatives'
Jackie Archibald is currently employed as Head of Coaching and Development for Scottish Gymnastics and is also responsible for Fitness Scotland. Jackie will be responsible for driving forward the actions of Coaching Scotland in line with the emerging UK Coaching Framework, and will work with and influence partners to ensure the progressive development of the sport across Scotland. Jackie has an extensive background in the development of sport and was appointed as Gymnastics Development Manager for SportTayside & Fife in May 2006. In this post, as Regional Manager, Jackie was responsible for the strategic direction of the sport and worked with many partner to achieve positive outcomes that resulted in the forward momentum of Gymnastics over four local authorities.

Joan Foulner - 'GMPD Judging Update'
Joan is the Chair of the Disabilities Panel in Scotland. She has judged Disabilities gymnasts for more than five years and attended the Workshop for the new Code of Points given by Kirsty Sime and Dave Balmer at Bellahouston in 2007. Joan was also the judge convenor at the Special Olympics when they were held in Glasgow.

Katie Sinnott - 'Introduction to Sport Psychology'
Katie Sinnott is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, specialising in Sport. She has a M.Sc. In Exercise and Sport Psychology and her main interest lies in working with athletes and coachs who want to pursue thier individual needs and wants. She has many years experience in providing psychological support to performance athletes, teams and coaches. Margaret Kerr - 'Teamgym Floorwork'
Margaret is the Scotland Representative for Teamgym. Margaret is truly dedicated to the promotion and development of Scottish team gymnastics. Margaret set up the first Scottish Teamgym club 10years ago (1999), Midlothian Teamgym, and has been a member of the general panel for the last 10 years. She was hooked on gymnastics when her daughter became a member of Lasswade gymnastics club in 1980. She then started her own gymnastics club in Dalkeith in 1985 and is now heavily involved with schools and team gymnastics and is a Senior WA Club coach, judge and Teamgym judge. Margaret has been fundamental to the development of Teamgym not only in Scotland but UK-wide. Her passion and dedication is infectious and her commitment to the development of her own gymnasts helped them to achieve British Champion status in 2009.

Neil Gibson - 'Nutrition Fuelling the Performer'
Neil has been employed by Heriot- Watt university for the last 5 years, 4 of these have been in the position of senior physiologist. His main duties include leading a proram of sport science support to Heart of Midlothian FC. In addition to this I am responsible for the sport and exercise science degree route within the school of life sciences. Previous to his time in Scotland he worked with the English Institute of Sport in Manchester primarily providing support services to wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby.
Paula Jardine - 'Effective Talent Identification'
Paula Jardine is the SW Regional Talent Manager. She was a rowing coach who worked on the British Rowing World Class start talent identification scheme before moving to Scottish Gymnastics to work as the National Development Manager.

Pauline Smith - 'Women's Artistic Judging Update' and 'An Hour with Our National Coaches'
Pauline Smith is a BG High Performance Coach and has held the highest judging award, FIG International Brevet, since 1993. As a judge she has always been involved with Scotland, representing them at numerous international events, including Commonwealth Games. She has also represented Great Britain at many events including European and World Championships.
Pauline is currently employed as a Women's Artistic Academy Coach.
Rod Smith - 'Women's Artistic Basic for the Bars' and 'An Hour with Our National Coaches'
Rod Smith is a BG Master Coach and holds an FIG Coaching Brevet. Between 1993 and 2008 Rod established South Essex GC as one of the most successful clubs in GB. During his time at South Essex Rod along with his wife Pauline coaches many National Champions including English Champions, British Age Group Champions, British All Arouns Champions, British Individual Apparatus Champions and British Team Champions. On the international scene, Rod's gymnasts have competed numerous times for Great Britain, achieving many notable results in European Championships and World Championships. As well as winning medals at Commonwealth Games for England, his gymnasts represented GC at 3 successive Olympic Games. Rod has been the team coach on many occasions for Great Britain, including World Championships and the Olympic Games. Throughout the past 10 years, he has also been heavily involved in coach education and coach mentoring. He is a member of the British Gymnastics WTC and the National Coach Education Panel. Rod is currently employed as the Women's Artistic National Coach Youth.
Samantha Langstaff - 'Teamgym Floorwork'
Sam has a true passion for gymnastics and was an Artistic Gymnast for many years at CSPE (now Diamonds), West Yorkshire and then moved to Teamgym when moved to Edinburgh to attend University. After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and accumulating 21years of experience in gymnastics as both a competitor and coach, Sam is now the Gymnastics Development Officer for Edinburgh Leisure where developing gymnastics in the city and Scotland is her main aim and passion; not only that Sam was selected onto the Young Advocates programme for the Beijing Paralympics 2008 and is now creating a legacy for London 2012 and beyond to increase awareness of the Paralympics and fundamentally increase participation in disability sport. Sam is a member of the hugely successful Midlothian Senior National Ladies team who won gold at the 2009 British Teamgym Championships in Gloucester. Sam is the competition and events organiser for Teamgym Scotland.

Toshko Pavlov - Acrobatic 'Lesson Structure' and 'Development and Coordination Using a Trampoline'
Toshko Pavlov was an Acrobatic World Championship medal winner and went on to coach European & World Championships medal winners.
Tracey Laing - 'Teamgym Floorwork'
Tracey has been involved in the gymnastics world since the age of 7 as a member of Dalkeith Gymnastics Club where she is now Head Coach. Tracey first got involved with Teamgym as a gymnast 10 years ago when the discipline first came to Scotland in 1999 and Margaret set up Midlothian Teamgym. Currently Regional Teamgym Judge, Level 3 Teamgym and Women’s Artistic Coach and working towards Senior Teamgym Coach. Tracey graduated in 2008 with BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and also has a HND in Sports Coaching with Sports Development. Tracey has now taken up the position as Teamgym Scotland Secretary, and was part of the winning Senior Ladies team in the 2009 British Teamgym Championships, Midlothian Teamgym.
