Minimum Operating Standards For Acceptance of SGA Registration
1. A club must have a minimum of one coach qualified at Level 2 in every discipline offered and registered with SGA
2. The Head Coach and Child Protection Co-ordinator must be fully trained in all aspects of Child Protection i.e. they must have attended an SGA organised “Safeguarding and Protecting Children” course and “Safe Gym for All” respectively
3. Clubs must register ALL members, i.e. gymnasts, coaches and committee members at the time of submitting their club’s application for registration form. NEW clubs only have a maximum of three months from acceptance of their application for registration to register ALL of these members
4. Gymnastics activities must be held in an SGA recognised environment
5. All SGA registered clubs must have a named Club Secretary
