The Regional Camp is an ideal opportunity for Clubs who are interested to learn more about TeamGym, to come along and gain valuable information and knowledge to introduce this exciting discipline to their gymnastics stream. Experts will be on hand to provide technical detail in a training environment to enhance the learning experience.

This National Camp is unique to Scotland and aims to give clubs working at National Level Teamgym to further develop gymnasts’ skills but also coaching technical knowledge through bringing all likeminded coaches together and using one of the leading European Teamgym coaches.
Target groups — national level gymnasts who compete using the national code. Also suitable for coaches who have gymnasts at regional level currently but would like to gain further knowledge of the national requirements and learn from Jimmy, a highly acclaimed Teamgym coach at European level.
Cost per gymnast - £50

Coaching in Scotland
Scotland currently has ten qualified teamgym coaches at Level 3 and 3 at Level 4 qualification; two of the level three coaches will be commencing level 4 training in 2011. At present coaches with men’s or women’s artistic qualification, at the appropriate level, are able to escort and coach teams at Teamgym competitions.
Please contact your Regional Gymnastics Development Manager if you wish to access a course and there is not a suitable one on the coach education calendar at present.
