Gymfest

GymFest is an annual gymnastics display event run by Scottish Gymnastics. It is a non-competitive, professionally run display festival which aims to promote gymnastics for all and encompasses the sheer enjoyment and appreciation of the sport that so many people have. Everyone is invited to enter GymFest from the beginner to the advanced gymnast. We focus on ensuring that all performers have the opportunity to display their talents to their family, friends and other gymnasts in a stress-free and enjoyable setting.

The Magnum Centre Irvine is the current home to GymFest and each year approximately 1500 gymnasts, 200 coaches, 50 volunteers and 4000 spectators literally invade the Magnum Centre over the first bank holiday in May, to take part in what has become the UK’s premier gymnastics display festival. The festival is getting bigger and better each year and we would encourage everyone to come along and watch the spectacular performances.

GymFest has become tremendously popular with very high demand for the limited number of places. To offer an alternative opportunity for teams who may not have been able to perform at GymFest Irvine, GymFest Perth was founded. Held in Bell's Sports Centre and planned for the 31st October 2010, GymFest Perth has been a great fixture on the calender for the last few years.

Initial registration forms for Perth 2010 are available as of the 14th June. Please return these with your deposit to secure your team's place.

Final forms for Perth 2010 are available here. The final closing date for entries will be Friday 17th September.

Initial registration forms for GymFest 2011 (Irvine) are available as of Monday 6th September. Closing date for applications will be Monday 13th December. If GymFest is oversubscribed a waiting list will be created to allocate spaces made available.

Final registration forms for GymFest 2011 will be issued early in the new year.

Please note that all teams should be members of their relevant gymnastics governing body.
