Job Description

Salto Gymnastics Club, based in Dundee are looking to recruit friendly, enthusiastic and professional coaches to join our coaching team on a self-employed basis.

British Gymnastics Qualifications:

Level 1, 2, 3 in Men’s or Women’s Artistic. Additional qualifications such as pre-school or disability are an advantage but not essential.

The coaching position will involve delivering fun and progressive sessions to a range of ages and abilities. You would be developing gymnasts from beginners through to advanced level.

Coaching hours available would be between 4 – 24 hours per week, with competitive pay, fully funded training courses, continuing professional development and mentoring. Additional hours may be available working within one of our squad programmes depending on qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent time keeping and reliability
  • Have strong working positive ethics and a passion to help all gymnasts fulfil their potential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work co-operatively within a team
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Willingness to develop new skills and commit to training opportunities
