Job Description
West Lothian Artistic Gymnastics Club vision is to inspire dreams in the sport of gymnastics. Young people and gymnasts are at the heart of our club. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our club as part of our coaching team. We are offering a full-time permanent level 2 coaching post to add to our current team.
Main Responsibilities:
- To plan, prepare and deliver engaging coaching sessions for gymnasts to the level of qualification.
- To attend competitions and events as required.
- To assist the coaching team to develop the General programme.
Person Specification:
- Hold a minimum of level 2 coaching qualification in women’s or men’s artistic and be keen to work towards level 3+.
- Hold current membership to Scottish Gymnastics, safeguarding certificate, and a PVG.
- Value and prioritise gymnasts’ happiness and well-being, while motivating and encouraging gymnasts to achieve new skills.
- A strong desire to work with both recreational and floor and vault competitive gymnasts to support their development.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, and individually. An excellent work ethic and desire to learn.
