Judging Courses (2022 - 2024 Cycle)

Looking to gain new perspective at our competitions? Think you know what makes a medal winning performance? Judging could be for you. 

British Gymnastics is creating judging courses for the new cycle which runs from 2022 to 2024.

Content is first written by the technical committees then developed into resources and courses by their education team. When a new course is released, we will contact all existing judges and clubs offering the relevant discipline to provide full details of the course launch. Revalidation information will also be sent to all of the previous cycle judges. 

All courses currently available can be found in the tables below. You can click the links to the courses to enrol yourself onto these. Please note, you must work through the judging pathway from club through to national in order. If a discipline or course is not yet showing, it is because British Gymnastics are currently working with the technical committees to help produce the content. We will update this page as new courses are released.

Information on New Judging Courses

If you want to start your judging journey or progress through the pathway you will find course details in the table below for all launched courses. For those with a previous qualification who are continuing at that level please see revalidation courses in the table further down the page. 

Can't find dates for the tutor-led courses you are looking for please complete the course interest form. This form will be used to inform us and British Gymnastics about the demand for additional courses. 

Judging Revalidation Courses

Revalidations are courses for those with previous judging qualifications who are looking to stay at the same level. In order to enrol on these courses, you must hold the previous cycle qualifcation (cycle 14). You can find more information about the courses below.
