Starting a New Club

If you are considering setting up a new gymnastics club, our team is here to help. Clubs can access a range of benefits and support through our club services team and partners. This allows you to run and manage your club more efficiently so you can focus on great experiences in the gym. 

Members of West Dunbartonshire Gymnastics Club

We have legal, financial, HR, and health and safety expertise available at special rates. Our teams provide education, resources and support for different aspects of your club including people, wellbeing and protection, the pathway and leadership. You can advertise club vacancies on our website free of charge. 

Club membership includes public liability insurance and the chance to have your say on how Scottish Gymnastics is run at the annual general meeting.

We can give guidance on coaching, safeguarding and facility requirements and can support you throughout the application process and beyond. If you’re considering starting a new club – then take a look at the checklist below to see if you have everything you need.

Membership Rules

Before clubs are accepted as an official member of Scottish Gymnastics, clubs must meet and exceed minimum operating requirements and adhere to general membership rules. You can read these in our governance policies section.
