The Performance Pathway

The performance pathway aims to expand the talent pool and develop Scottish gymnasts to British and world high-performance levels. We are committed to creating sustainable talent pathways across all our gymnastics disciplines to prepare, support and challenge gymnasts and coaches on the journey to world-class performance.

Our philosophy is athlete-centred, coach-led, performance-driven. This approach to performance development is focussed on and committed to the longer-term aspiration of world-class performance from athletes, coaches and performance staff.

We instil a culture of continual learning throughout our activities and therefore encourage athletes, coaches and parents to embrace learning and development through the opportunities and expertise you can access through your place within Scottish Gymnastics programmes.

We provide resources and support for athletes, parents and coaches to take them through the journey allowing them to thrive in the Scottish Gymnastics performance pathway.
