2021 Recognition Awards

Nominations are open for our 2021 Recognition Awards sponsored by GymData which recognise our members’ commitment, passion, and achievement.

We want to celebrate the people in our sport who make our gymnastics community what it is. Tell us your stories of the positive achievements made by someone you know, or by your club between 1 December 2020 and 31 October 2021.

We will showcase our winners on social media in December so everyone can see the amazing work and achievement from across the country. There may be more than one person celebrated in each category.

Scottish Gymnastics CEO Doc McKelvey said: “Our members across the Scottish Gymnastics community have shown strength and resilience in responding to the challenges of the last year. They have worked to ensure our sport continued when gyms were closed, and help it thrive when restrictions eased and full activities returned.

“We are delighted that GymData is sponsoring the #21Awards. GymData provide live scoring at our events and we appreciate Robert and his team’s support in celebrating the gymnastics community.”

GymData’s unique scoring system allows judges enter results electronically which makes them ideal for publishing and means spectators can view scores as they happen.

Gymdata's founder and owner Robert Stockwell added: “We have supported the Scottish Gymnastics awards in previous years and we are delighted to be the #21Awards main sponsor. It is so important to recognise those who have not been daunted by the challenges of these times but continued to demonstrate their commitment and passion for the sport.  Whilst everyone has missed live spectator events during the pandemic we remain optimistic for the future. Good Luck to all the nominees”

We want to hear about gymnasts, coaches, judges, safeguarding officers, club officials, administrators, helpers, volunteers, clubs and all the people who make gymnastics activities and events possible.

All you need to do is click the link below your chosen category which will take you to a nomination form. Please complete the form and attach pictures to highlight the achievement. We are looking for

We look forward to receiving and sharing your stories. Nominations close at 9am on Friday 19 November so don’t miss out!
