With the return to competitions for both men's and women's artistic gymnastics in the coming months, our education team have been working hard to deliver resources to help our judges and coaches to keep their skills up to date.
It has been a difficult time for our gymnastic community during the pandemic and we can't wait to get back to seeing our gymnasts compete again. We hope that these resources will help you to prepare and refresh your skills for the competitions due to recommence in the coming months.
Men's Artistic CPD - Delivered via Absorb
We recently delivered a CPD session for men's artistic judges and coaches, led by our regional pathway coach and judge, Stephen Tonge and chair of our men's artisitc technical committee, John Campbell. It has been created to support you in your return to judging and coaching at competitions. You can view the recording of the CPD session by visiting the home of e-learning for Scottish Gymnastics, Absorb.
Women's Artistic Video Resources - Delivered by British Gymnastics
We are pleased to be sharing with you 'return to judging' video on demand resources. These have been created by the British Gymnastics women's artistic technical committee in collaboration with their education department to support you in your return to judging. The videos have been specifically designed for brevet and national judges. However, they have also been made available to regional and club judges for additional support. Additional tools for regional and club judges will be supplied and added to this page soon. The classic challenge video can be accessed by loggin into the BG Academy and clicking through to the judges toolkit. You will find the resources by clicking the links below:

The menu is in the far-left corner of your video screen. Click on the three lines and the menu will appear offering chapters of the video that are divided by specific apparatus. Vault has one chapter with both D&E scores and bars, beam and floor have been separated into D and E score chapters to help you find exactly what you are looking for.
