We asked our level 1 and 2 coaches what support they needed.

You said, we did!

We have introduced a continuous professional development workshop called Coaching the Gymnast in Front of You.

This workshop will have you thinking about who you coach every week.

You don’t necessarily need to know everyone’s favourite colour or have a deep understanding of their beliefs to coach them effectively.

But to consistently deliver a #GreatCoaching experience that motivates everyone to keep coming back, you do need to understand and connect with the people who attend your sessions.

This new workshop is designed to support you to discover how to be truly person-centred in your coaching.  It will be delivered by our coach development team of Jay Runga and Lindsay Thomson in Edinburgh on Thursday 23 April from 6pm.

This is an opportunity to hone your people skills and learn from the experts. It will equip you with key person-centred strategies, enabling you to deliver sessions which tap into the feelings, thoughts and motivations of everyone you coach.

Jay said: “This workshop is a real insight into how to create the best environment possible for your gymnasts to thrive. It got me to rethink some of my current practices in terms of how I connect with the people I coach.

“I think we often neglect some of the softer skills required to get the best out of your sessions and this workshop pulls all that together.”

Join Jay and Lindsay for this workshop. Places are limited, so don’t miss out!
