Scottish Gymnastics is delighted to announce a new opportunity for coaches to access CPD, with the launch of new courses using online learning.

As we strive to better support the coaching workforce within Scotland we are making it easier for coaches to utilise CPD opportunities.

The Education team at Scottish Gymnastics realise the challenges that coaches face in terms of accessing time for their own development, and that getting time away from the gym can be challenging. To counter this challenge we are bringing these courses to you via an online platform.

The first course available for free to all coaches is an Introduction to Sport Psychology in conjunction with Adam Morris at Believe Perform.  Adam has vast experience and knowledge in the practical application and theory of Sports Psychology and a history of working with gymnasts. Adam has tailored the course specifically for gymnastics coaches with the course focusing mainly on developing an understanding of the key theory behind the breath of sport psychology practices.

How you access the course:

The new courses will be delivered using an online platform called Udemy.  To get access to these courses you are required to sign up to an Udemy account on the following link:
Once you have successfully opened a free account with Udemy you are then required to contact Workforce Development Manger Gordon Drummond for your link and password to access the specific course.

As a commitment to our membership Scottish Gymnastics are offering the first online course for free for all coaches.  If you require anymore information please contact Gordon using the contact details above.
