SCOTS SHINE AT 2015 BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS SERIES

The fourth and final day of the 2015 British Championships Series at the Echo Arena in Liverpool took the form of finals in acrobatic and a newly introduced challenge event for teamgym micro teams.

In the acrobatic competition, Acrobay 12-18 women's group Jodie Watson, Jane Stevenson and Chloe Rowlands produced a well executed difficulty packed routine, scoring 26.950, to secure the silver medal in what is one of the toughest fought categories. Urban senior women's group Sophie Mulholland, Melissa Loughlin and Amy Robertson added to the Scottish medal tally, winning silver with a score of 22.650.

12-18 women's group - Jodi Watson, Jane Stevenson & Chloe Rowlands (Acrobay) - 2nd
12-18 mixed pair - Greg Robertson & Lucy Glendenning (Kilmarnock) - 4th
Senior women's group - Sophie Mulholland, Melissa Loughlin & Amy Robertson (Urban) - 2nd
 
The four teams from Saltire and Forth Valley all put in excellent displays in the challenge competition. Newcomers to the British teamgym stage Forth Valley won the level 2 national micro category whilst Saltire took home the bronze medals in the level 1 and level 3 national micro competitions, adding to their junior mixed silver medals the previous day.
