Volunteering

There are lots of ways you can volunteer in gymnastics! Whether it’s taking on a role in your local club or bringing your skills to support us run our busy calendar of events.

By giving your time and helping either regularly or just when you can, you are helping other young people, your community, and our sport. We appreciate every member of our Scottish Gymnastics family.

However, there are benefits for you too. So, if you are…

  • wanting to help out
  • looking to learn new skills
  • keen to meet other people
  • fired up to make a difference

You should consider giving some of your time to gymnastics. What turns that donation into an investment is that you get back far more than you give. Just ask others who volunteer.

Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding investments you’ll ever make.

Volunteering at Events

Volunteering at our events is a great way to take part without having to be a gymnast! If you’re a young leader in your club, you’re looking for new skills or you are a parent attending competitions with your child – volunteering could be the perfect thing for you.

As a volunteer you will join a team of people committed to ensuring that the event runs smoothly and all participants have a great experience. We are happy to provide an acknowledgement of your volunteering with us so this can count towards Duke of Edinburgh or other programmes that require volunteer hours to be completed.

We also welcome volunteers in other areas of gymnastics, such as committee and board members.
