Preschool Coach / General or Women's Artistic Coaches Required
 

Zippy's Gymnastics Academy are looking for enthusiastic and motivated coaches to join our team. The club is based in Thornliebank, Southside of Glasgow. We deliver a range of classes from preschool to recreational and competitive squad level. The club is situated in its own building with a sprung floor and plenty of equipment. The club was established in 2002 and has been in current premises since 2008. The club encourages and helps coaches to further their qualifications. The coaches will receive a permanent contract. The right applicant will need to have current PVG and Safeguarding Award. Please see below the specifications of the two roles:
 
Position and hours: 
• Gymnastics coach minimum level 1 (UKCC level 1 coaching qualification in gymnastics or preschool) for our preschool section (17+ hours or we can consider two applicants for job share)
• Gymnastics coach minimum level 2 (UKCC level 2 WA/General qualification) (min of 11 hours but lots of opportunity for more hours)
 
Salary:   Level 1 – £8-10 per hour depending on age and level
               Level 2 – £12-15 per hour depending on age and level

Recreational Gymnastics Manager

The main purpose of this role is to drive the development of quality recreational gymnastics opportunities in line with the Participation Department Work Plan. As a subject matter expert for recreation gymnastics, the role holder will have a thorough understanding of how recreational gymnastics is delivered in different gymnastics environments working with colleagues, other departments and stakeholders to lead and support participation opportunities. The role holder will have a drive, passion and ambition to improve the opportunities for recreational gymnasts, understanding their motivations for taking part in the sport and the role gymnastics has as a foundation sport.

The role includes the management and development of recreational gymnastics products and programmes including those specifically targeting inclusion; along with, management of the Recreational Gymnastics Team and being responsible for the allocation of resources including budgeting accountability.

City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club

Acrobatics Gymnastics Coaches

Are you interested in competitive gymnastics, with a drive to improve yourself and your gymnasts? Then City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club needs you!

We are looking to grow the coaching team in the Acrobatic Gymnastics programme with hard-working, dedicated and driven coaches who can help take the gymnasts forward to meet their performance objectives.

We have roles working with the competitive groups where the coach will take on leadership during competitions and in the preparation for these.  Someone with an Acrobatics Level 2 (or a willingness to achieve this within a year) is required to support the lead coach in planning and preparation for long term development onto the FIG pathway.

We also have roles working with the development age groups where a focus on developing gymnasts physically and mentally as strong individuals is the aim.  For these groups, the coach needs to have experience of coaching gymnastics with at least a Level 1 in any discipline initially.  Support will be provided to the coach to help develop the specifics of acrobatics if required. 

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a High Performance Acrobatics Coach (Level 5) with vast experience from across the country.

Tay Trampoline Club

Tay Trampoline Club, based in Newport-On-Tay in Waterstone Crook Sports Centre, may be the club for you. We are looking for coaches of all levels, but primarily for those with experience and the qualifications to work with performers achieving advanced skills such as twisting and double somersaults.

Tay is a small club that has been improving year on year, and we would love for some new coaches to take an interest in our club and push the boundaries of what could be achieved.

We currently have 19 competitive squad who will be competing from NDP 1 to NDP Performance Level in Trampoline, and NDP 1-FIG in DMT for the 2018 season competing at Scottish Gymnastics and British Gymnastics Events within Scotland, as well as within England. We will also be involved in the Northern League competitions where our six development squad members compete alongside our competitive squad. 
 
Our squad sessions currently run Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Sunday mornings, and sometimes Saturdays. We hope to expand to another session for our performance and potential FIG TRA performers on a Wednesday evening. We also run recreational classes on Wednesday afternoons for those who are interested in recreational coaching. 
 
Hourly Rate:
Assistant Coaches - £8.60
Club Coaches (L2) – £10.10
Senior Club Coaches + (L3+) - £12.10

Active Schools Edinburgh

Level 2 Coach required urgently – temporary position

Active Schools Edinburgh are in urgent need of a level 2 coach to assist with sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for approximately eight weeks (as at 25 September). They currently have one coach and need a second for the sessions to go ahead, and they have had to stop delivering classes in the meantime.
