Flic Flac Gymnastics Club - St Andrews

Head Coach

Flic Flac Gymnastics Club is a friendly, community-focussed club first established in 1980.  We run sessions twice weekly during term time at the brand-new Madras College in St Andrews, and our coaching team is supported by a committee of volunteer parents and guardians.  Due to the relocation of our head coach, we are looking for a new head coach with a gymnast-centred attitude to coaching to plan and lead our recreational artistic gymnastics classes.  There is also the (paid) opportunity to run additional holiday sessions, informal competitions, and outreach activities if you wish, and with a very healthy waiting list there is room for future growth. 

Requirements: UKCC Level 2+ women’s artistic or general gymnastics coaching qualification, and current safeguarding, PVG and membership with Scottish Gymnastics. 
Rate of pay: £14.05 per hour
Weekly Hours: Mon 5:45pm – 8:15pm and Thurs 5:45pm – 8:45pm
Employment status: Self-Employed
Start date: Immediate

Gymnastics Coaches

Garioch Gymnastics Club

Coach Vacancies - Level 1+

Garioch Gymnastics Club moved into their own dedicated facility in February 2020 and the club has grown considerably since. We have growing waiting lists for all of our classes and aim to increase the number of classes we have on offer to satisfy demand. We are looking for motivated individuals who will work well as part of a friendly team. Our club run classes from pre-school through to women's artistic international level.

Requirements: Minimum Level 1 qualification in pre-school, general or artistic. Current PVG, safeguarding and membership with Scottish Gymnastics.
Desirable: Positive coaching certificate or workshop attendance. Daytime availability and flexible working for cover as required.

Weekly hours: Various hours available including evenings and weekends, with a degree of flexibility depending on coach availability.  
Status: Zero hours or contracted coach (dependent on hours). 
Rates of pay: Hourly rate dependent on qualification and experience.

City of Aberdeen Gymnastics (COAG) originates back to 1992. The club over the years has gone from strength to strength. This has been very much down to the amazing dedicated team of coaches and committee. City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club 

Board Roles 

City of Glasgow is long established gymnastics club which has produced successful athletes including Scottish champions and the Commonwealth Games athletes. They strive to give everyone the best experience with a focus on on men’s artistic, women’s artistic, acrobatic, and disability gymnastics.

The club, which is limited by guarantee, is looking to expand the knowledge and expertise of the board of directors ahead of one of the most exciting and challenging projects undertaken by the club in the next phase of their growth and development.

Women's Artistic Lead Squad Coach

Salto Gymnastics Club, based in Dundee is looking for an experienced, motivated WAL3 or above coach who will lead the woman’s artistic squad programme and develop to a successful competitive level. The successful candidate will promote and be a positive role model with a positive working ethos that fits into the club’s vision. Salto offers a fantastic facility, fully kitted out with Gymnova equipment. You will be part of a club where all team members are valued equally and promotes a nurturing environment for all participants.
Our current squad programme train Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5-8pm and on a Saturday 10-2pm however these times and hours could be flexible with scope to increase and enhance the programme.
