Gymnastics relies upon an army of volunteers in our clubs, at our events and in our technical and administrative committees. These volunteers play a crucial role in gymnastics, helping to ensure the smooth running, sustainability and future growth of the sport.
To support the development of programmes, activities and resources designed to attract, retain and enhancing the experiences of volunteers within gymnastics, we are seeking to recruit a Volunteering Co-ordinator into our Volunteering Support & Development team.
Working with the Volunteering Support & Development Manager, the Volunteering Co-ordinator can expect to be involved in a range of activities, including:
Co-ordinating the delivery of a national young leaders programme and associated development modules
Supporting the development of new resources and systems to attract, recruit, retain and recognise volunteers across all areas of the sport
Working with internal colleagues and external partners to develop tools and training to support the development, deployment and up-skilling of volunteers
Supporting the recruitment and deployment of volunteers in support of BG Events, Competitions and Championships
The ideal individual will have/be able to demonstrate:
An understanding of the current volunteering agenda and ideally an understanding of sport, club structures, events etc.
Skills for project co-ordination, monitoring and reporting / progression
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with colleagues, volunteers and stakeholders
Good administration skills for orgainsing events, co-ordinating projects, monitoring budgets, collating data, producing reports and presentations etc.

Club Administrator (Finance) Temporary position

West Lothian Artistic Gymnastics Club are looking for a skilled and competent individual who will be responsible for maintaining the club’s financial records including:
- accurate analysis of income;
- reconciling bank statement entries to income and expenditure;
- maintaining accurate monthly management accounts for all transactions; and
- supporting the Club Management Team with general administrative duties.
This is a significant role for the club and we are looking for someone who is hard working, passionate and wanting to make a difference. Experience in bookkeeping and SAGE would be desirable.

Sports Programme Officer (Olympic) – Maternity Cover

We are currently looking for maternity cover to deliver and monitor the programme to Olympic disciplines. The cover will be for approximately 12 months and you will be working within the Performance Sport Department as one of 5 Sport Programme Officers, this role is specifically required to provide logistical and administrative support to plan. Working with key volunteers to integrate their activities and to coordinate and promote an effective support infrastructure for national programmes.

Acrobay Gymnastics Club

Acrobay is the current Scottish Gymnastics Club of the Year. Since moving to their own facility in Rosyth a year ago, the club has grown, and now has over 1200 gymnasts. The successful candidate would be joining a team of 26 qualified coaches.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, qualified coach General/Artistic Level 2 who works well within a team, to predominantly deliver recreational gymnastics classes which will include evening and weekend work.
Hourly rate will be dependant on level of qualification and experience.

Edinburgh University Gymnastics Club
Coaches Required - Level 2 or higher
Our club is in need of coaches who are able to work with those of all ability, from beginners to advanced. As such, a Level 2 qualification in tumbling and acro is desired. Sessions run on Wednesday from 1:30-5:30pm, Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm, and Saturday from 12:00-2:30pm. Sessions start second week of September and run through April with a break from mid-December to mid-January, with some additional days for competitions and camps.

Balfron Gymnastics Club
Balfron Gymnastics Club is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic coach to work on a part-time basis at the well-established club based at Balfron High School in the village of Balfron.
The applicant must be confident and experienced in Gymnastics coaching, with a passion for coaching children from age four upwards. You should have the knowledge to work with children of all abilities and a willingness to input new ideas to continually improve our coaching programme. Starting as soon as possible, you would be required to assist the Head Coach and occasionally lead the groups (when standing in for the Head Coach) for blocks of approximately 6 - 10 weeks on Saturdays 10am – 5pm and Thursdays 4.30pm – 8.00pm, depending on club requirements it may also be in school holidays. The hourly rate will be £12.50 for an assistant coach or £15.50 for acting Head Coach.
Candidates should be qualified to at least Level 2, although we will consider Level 1 assistants who are currently undertaking a Level 2 qualification. We would anticipate any Level 2 coaches applying to be looking to qualify as a Level 3 coach in the future. Level 3 coaches are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will be PVG checked through the club. A car driver with your own transport is essential if you live outside the village.
