Tay Trampoline Club

Coaches

Tay Trampoline Club, based in Newport-On-Tay in Waterstone Crook Sports Centre, may be the club for you. We are looking for coaches of all levels, but primarily for those with experience and the qualifications to work with performers achieving advanced skills such as twisting and double somersaults.

Tay is a small club that has been improving year on year, and we would love for some new coaches to take an interest in our club and push the boundaries of what could be achieved.
With a strong student based coaching team, we would love for greater experience from coaches who may have been out of the game for a while to come back and have fresh vigour for our amazing sport. We’d also love for those who are interested in starting their coaching career to get involved as well. After all, we all have to start somewhere!

We currently have 19 competitive squad who will be competing from NDP 1 to NDP Performance Level in Trampoline, and NDP 1-FIG in DMT for the 2018 season competing at Scottish Gymnastics and British Gymnastics Events within Scotland, as well as within England. We will also be involved in the Northern League competitions where our six development squad members compete alongside our competitive squad.

Our squad sessions currently run Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Sunday mornings, and sometimes Saturdays. We hope to expand to another session for our performance and potential FIG TRA performers on a Wednesday evening. We also run recreational classes on Wednesday afternoons for those who are interested in recreational coaching.
