Head of Gymnastics

NIST International School seeks a highly experienced and forward-thinking head of gymnastics from January 2020 or August 2021 at the very latest.

Main Responsibilities
In consultation with the director of activities and sport, the head of gymnastics is responsible for the design, delivery, and supervision of the gymnastics programme and its resources. The post holder is responsible for the strategic planning and delivering a diverse programme that caters to the full range of gymnastics aptitudes and abilities of the NIST student body. The post holder will be expected to share a vision of creating gymnastics opportunities for all by providing quality experiences through intentional teaching and coaching. The head of gymnastics works closely with the director of athletics & activities, the elementary, middle and high school physical education teachers, NIPTA, finance, communications, and marketing departments. the head of gymnastics reports to the director of athletics & activities.

Remuneration & Benefits
Salary Range: £ 37,000 - 50,000
The package also includes a housing allowance, shipping allowance, airfare allowance on successful completion of contract, full international health insurance and tuition scholarship for dependents.

Flic Flac Gymnastics Club

UKCC Level 2 Gymnastics Coach

Status: employed
Rate: £14.05 per hour
Hours: Wednesday 5pm – 7pm and Fri 5:45pm – 8:30pm
Location: Madras College Gym Hall, Kilrymont Road, St Andrews

Flic Flac Gymnastics Club is a friendly, community-focussed club running sessions in St Andrews twice weekly during term time.  There is also the (paid) opportunity to run additional holiday sessions, informal competitions, and outreach activities if you wish.  These are often organised in partnership with local schools and other nearby clubs.  

We are looking for a UKCC Level 2 coach with a gymnast-centred attitude to coaching to plan and lead recreational artistic gymnastics classes alongside an assistant coach. Minimum UKCC Level 2 gymnastics coaching qualification and current safeguarding Qualification and PVG certificate.

We are a small, friendly well-established club based in South Ayrshire.

We are currently looking for voluntary level 2 coach/coaches.  We train every Thursday and Friday from 6pm to 9pm.

Responsibilities: working within our recreational tumble skills programme and competitively with gymnasts working through the NDP pathway

Weekly hours: up to 10 hours per week

Kingston Gymnastics Club

Level 1 Tumble coach vacancy: part-time

Kingston Gymnastics Club is based in Kinning Park, Glasgow.  

We have a vacancy for a level 1 tumble coach, or for someone with an interest in gaining their level 1 in tumble.

The successful applicant will coach our development tumble section, which will train four hours per week.  The hours would be weekday evenings with the possibility of some weekend hours.
