Scottish Tumblers Gymnastic Club - Coach Wanted

Scottish Tumblers Gymnastic Club is a small, family club based in Coatbridge and Motherwell. We offer recreational classes, competitive women artistic and display classes for school-aged children.

We are looking for a pro-active, creative, enthusiastic coach to join our team. We would prefer coaches to be Level 2 Artistic, Tumble or Acro qualified, but are willing to progress dedicated coaches through coaching awards. We are looking for coaches to be PVG and have gained their Safeguarding qualification.

Auchterarder Gymnastics Club - Coaching Positions – Level2 +

Auchterarder Gymnastics Club are looking for enthusiastic, confident and dynamic coaches with a love of the sport to join our coaching team. Auchterarder Gymnastics Club was formed in 1987 and is the one of the largest youth organisations within Auchterarder and one of the largest in Perthshire with a modern training facility which allows our gymnasts to train at all levels up to and including national level.

This is a great opportunity to join our successful club and work with a great team. You will work with the Head Coach to deliver and continually improve our coaching program. You will be coaching all ages and preparing gymnasts for competitions and gradings. Our classes run in the evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays. This will be a permanent post. Hours to be negotiated will be 25hours per week upwards.  The start date will be July 2017. 

Candidates should be qualified to at least Level 2 men's or women’s (or both) and wishing to progress to level 3 in the future. Level 3 coaches are welcome to apply.  All candidates will require to hold a Protection of Vulnerable Groups check and attend a Safeguarding and Protecting Children course. You will have the knowledge to work with children of all ages and abilities.

British Gymnastics – Safeguarding Officers

British Gymnastics have a new and exciting opportunity for two Safeguarding Officers to cover North and South regions supporting clubs and welfare officers with concerns around safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. You will be working closely with members of the Safeguarding Team, regional/county/club welfare officers and statutory agencies providing support, assistance and guidance in dealing with complaints and concerns raised.

37 hours per week, home-based with national remit

Welsh Gymnastics

Welsh Gymnastics Ltd (WG) as the National Governing Body for Gymnastics in Wales is looking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate individual to work within our successful Women’s Artistic National programme at Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.

Balfron Gymnastics Club 

Balfron Gymnastics Club is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic coach to work on a part-time basis at the well-established club based at Balfron High School in the village of Balfron.

Job Specification

The applicant must be confident and experienced in Gymnastics coaching, with a passion for coaching children from age four upwards. You should have the knowledge to work with children of all abilities and a willingness to input new ideas to continually improve our coaching programme. Starting as soon as possible, you would be required to assist the Head Coach and occasionally lead the groups (when standing in for the Head Coach) for blocks of approximately 6 - 10 weeks on Saturdays 10am – 5pm and Thursdays 4.30pm – 8.00pm, depending on club requirements it may also be in school holidays. The hourly rate will be £12.50 for an assistant coach or £15.50 for acting Head Coach.


Candidates should be qualified to at least Level 2, although we will consider Level 1 assistants who are currently undertaking a Level 2 qualification. We would anticipate any Level 2 coaches applying to be looking to qualify as a Level 3 coach in the future. Level 3 coaches are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will be PVG checked through the club. A car driver with your own transport is essential if you live outside the village.

Linwood Gymnastics

Due to the retirement of the current Head Coach we are looking for a new coach to come in and take over the running of the club. Established in 1978 we are a small, recreational club with a display team, a beginners and an intermediate class. 

We currently rent premises with a sprung floor and there is scope to grow the club significantly.

Earlston Gymnastics Club - Development Coach

Earlston Gymnastics Club is a recreational club based at Earlston High School in the Scottish Borders. We are keen to develop a more focused coaching structure within the club and to develop some of our better gymnasts.  At present we run eight classes. The club has good equipment and work on all four pieces. We have ten level 2 coaches who would welcome the opportunity to support and learn from this programme.

We are seeking a self-employed development coach (Minimum L3) to assist with the coaching, coach development and internal competition structure at our club.

Live Borders

ARE you a level 2 gymnastics coach in or near the Borders area? If so, Live Borders want to hear from you. Astro Gymnastics - Coaches Wanted

Who are we?
Astro Gymnastics West Lothian are seeking to appoint coaches to help deliver a variety of classes within our dedicated, full time gymnastics facility based in Livingston.  Astro runs classes for Pre-School, Recreational, Tumbling, Freestyle, Development Acro, Competitive Acro and is home to two award winning display teams, Astro Republic and Astro Eden.

Opportunities Available
We are looking to appoint new coaching staff within each of the above sections in particular our competitive classes.  Working with us would include a number of weekdays, evenings and weekends for training and events, up to16 hours a week (negotiable) plus additional administration hours to help with session programming, event entries and general administrative duties.  Applicants should be motivated, proactive, strong team players and be dedicated to the progression of our gymnasts and the sport.

Rate of Pay
Rate of pay will be negotiable depending on level of qualification and experience.

Acrobatic Section & Recreational Section:
Applicants should hold a minimum Level 2 Acrobatic qualification (with a desire to progress onto Level 3) however Level 3 or 4 Acro would be preferred.  

Applicants should hold a minimum Level 2 Pre-School.

Freestyle Sections:
Applications should hold a level 2 Freestyle qualification or Level 2 (in any discipline excluding pre-school) with a view to completing the Freestyle add on module.

Prospective applicants will also be expected to hold a current PVG and, if required, will be placed on a Safegaurding course and first aid course.
