Gymfest Aberdeen 2018

4th to 6th May

Tickets are now on sale for Gymfest 2018, the UK’s biggest gymnastics display festival which takes place from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 May.

The hugely popular event returns to Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre which hosted the event for the first time last year.

Gymfest was first held over 30 years ago to promote gymnastics for all, regardless of age, gender, race and ability. It has become the best attended event on the Scottish Gymnastics calendar and the UK’s biggest non-competitive gymnastics festival.

More than 1100 gymnasts in 58 teams are coming from Surrey in the south, and Dublin in the west to be a part of this fun-filled celebration of gymnastics. One of those is Astro Eden from Livingston, who won a gold medal when representing Great Britain at last year’s World Gym for Life Challenge in Norway.

The teams will be performing in five different sessions, starting with a gala performance on Friday evening, with around 20 varied routines in four shows across the rest of the weekend.

Each routine is a unique blend of gymnastic skills, colourful costumes and clever choreography set to music, inspired this year by popular artists, characters and films including Beyoncé, James Bond and La La Land.

You can watch this amazing spectacle for as little as £5, with family tickets available from £25. Because performances sell out in advance of the weekend, we advise you order early to avoid disappointment!
