There are lots of ways you can volunteer in gymnastics, from being involved in your local club to helping out at Scottish Gymnastics events.
By giving your time and helping either regularly or less frequently, you are helping young people, your community, and our sport.
However, there are benefits for you too. So, if you are
- just wanting to help out
- looking to learn new skills
- keen to meet other people
- fired up to make a difference
then you should consider giving some of your time to gymnastics. What turns that donation into an investment is that you get back far more than you give. Just ask others who volunteer.
Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding investments you'll ever make.
Volunteering at Gymfest is a great way to take part without having to be a gymnast!
As a volunteer you will join a team of people committed to ensuring that the event runs smoothly and all participants have a great experience. We are happy to provide an acknowledgement of your volunteering with us so this can count towards Duke of Edinburgh or other programmes requiring volunteer hours to be completed.
If you wish to be a part of our our events, Gymfest among them, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We are also looking for members of different ages and experience to join our board advisory groups. You can help us on our 12-year journey with our vision of ‘a strong Scottish Gymnastics, inspiring and nurturing emerging talent’, we are focussing on strategic objectives in four key, areas: clubs, people, gymnasts and corporate.
