Tumbling | 2026 Scottish champions crowned in Motherwell
Gymnasts from across Scotland competed to be crowned the 2026 Scottish national tumbling gymnastics champions at Ravenscraig Regional Sport Centre, Motherwell.
Dynamite dominated the FIG levels for the second year running in these championships as their gymnasts claimed four out of the five titles on offer at this level. Emily Brown took home the shield in the women’s 17-21 category, speaking about her competition she said “ It feels good, especially after a few years out with a knee injury. This is my first Scottish back at FIG level and I got two passes to feet. So, I’m quite happy with that.”
Miguel Reis-Forrester was crowned the men’s junior competition, even with an error in his first pass. Commenting about his performances he noted “My first pass – I thought I missed my hand on the landing. My second one it felt smooth and I got to the end and landed it.”
