Trampoline & Double Mini-Trampoline | 2025 Champions crowned in Dundee
Gymnasts from across Scotland competed in Dundee to be crowned 2025 Scottish National Trampoline and Double Mini-Trampoline Gymnastics champions.
The Regional Performance Centre in Dundee welcomed back our trampoline disciplines championships once again. It was an exciting weekend of somersaults, twists and stuck landings as gymnasts soared to success on both the trampoline and double mini-trampolines.
On the double mini-trampolines (DMT) it was Paige Russell from JUMP taking the women’s DMT champion title with her leading score of 73.6. This also earned her the gold medal in her age category, 15-16, with a staggering 6.1 between her and second place.
Two Foot Higher’s Jake Black earned not only earned a personal best score during this championships but also his first ever national title. Speaking after the competition he commented
“This is the first ever trophy I’ve won in 10 years of doing this sport, I’m absolutely ecstatic.”
Performing their highest ever difficulty routine paid off for Sarah Gallacher and Michael Gallery from Sparta. The pair took home the synchronised trampoline (more commonly known as synchro) championship title with a score of 42.66.
In the individual’s competition Murray Findlay (Sparta) reclaimed the men’s senior championships title along with the award for the FIG gymnast with the highest single routine difficulty score. Ellie Stewart from All Star Elite competed in the FIG levels for the first time and went clean in her routines to earn the senior women’s title.
