Job Description

Kingston Gymnastics Club is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 acrobatic gymnastics coach to join their coaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to nurturing young talent and inspiring the next generation of competitive gymnasts.

The successful candidate will be:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality acrobatic gymnastics coaching sessions
  • Support gymnast progression and long-term development
  • Prepare gymnasts and partnerships for competitions and events
  • Contribute to performance development and routine preparation
  • Attend competitions and represent the club professionally
  • Create a safe, positive, and motivating training environment
  • Work collaboratively with the wider coaching team
  • Support the club’s values and commitment to athlete wellbeing and enjoyment of the sport

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 coaching qualification in acrobatic gymnastics.
  • Hold current Scottish Gymnastics membership
  • Possess current safeguarding and protecting children certification and PVG
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical coaching knowledge
  • Understanding of safe athlete development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to motivate and support young athletes
