Job Description

P.H.D FUNdamentals is currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated coaches to join our ever-growing gymnastics club. They have various hours available, mainly over evenings and weekends, and are looking for people who could take on a role immediately.

Their current classes include pre-school, recreational, floor & vault, women’s artistic, acro, trampoline, DMT and TeamGym. The club is open Tuesday-Sunday in Peebles and Galashiels.

Main Responsibilites

  • To assist with the delivery of coaching sessions for gymnasts to the level of qualification
  • To work as a team with other club coaches to ensure the safe and effective running of all coaching sessions
  • Support gymnasts’ participation in competitions and events
  • Contribute to the ethos of the club and become a member of a great team

Personal Specification

  • Level 2+ qualified (we will consider experienced Level 1 and provide training)
  • PVG and Safeguarding certificate
  • Hold Scottish Gymnastics membership
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A strong desire to work with both recreational and competitive gymnasts to support their development
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and flexibility to cover various groups across the club
  • Keen to progress your coaching career and help progress and develop the success of gymnasts at P.H.D FUNdamentals
