It’s Journey
With Commonwealth Games Scotland as Games Host, Scotland will be the 74th and last Commonwealth country to hold its King’s Baton Relay events as part of the Summer of Sport. In its final leg, it will visit around 80 events across 21 local authorities as it travels across the nation over 23 days.
The Baton started its Scottish journey at the Team Scotland camp at the SEC on 1 July and will end at Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony next door at the Hydro.

The Scotland Baton decorative design is by Glasgow School of Art graduate Annie Graham using traditional woodworking marquetry techniques and sustainably sourced wood.
