Artistic | 2026 Northern European Championships team named
Scotland name their twelve strong team compete at the 2026 Northern European Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
From Team Scotland gymnasts to international debuts, this year’s team comes with a breadth of international experience. Scotland has had continual success at these championships with several team and individual medals over the years. This year the team will hope to continue that succes as they travel to Denmark to compete against 11 other nations across the 14 and 15 November.
Crystelle Lake (Park Wrekin) heads the women’s team following a summer of success representing Team Scotland at the Commonwealth and Great Britain internationally. She unfortunately withdrew from the 2024 Northern European Championships team due to injury but previous to that earned silver on floor at the 2023 edition.
On the men’s side, West Lothian’s Kyle Millar has the most experience in the team at these championships. He helped the 2022 men earn the silver team medal and in 2025 brought home bronze on floor and in the team events.
Congratulations to the gymnasts, their personal coaches and club on their selections. We can’t wait to follow the team’s journey in the build-up the international event.
