Acrobatic | Performance Programme Selections 2025-26
Across the levels, fifty-seven gymnasts in twenty-two partnerships have been selected onto the Scottish performance programme.
Ian Said will continue to lead the programme as national technical lead with support from Michelle Diniz as development performance programme (DPP) coach. Suzanne Fraser will provide further support across all levels in her role as pathway coordinator on the acrobatic technical committee.
The national performance programme (NPP) focuses on those with potential to succeed within the Great Britain pathway at the most senior levels. The performance pathway programme (PPP) will host those working at the youth and junior FIG levels. Partnerships working from NDP grade 4 up to pre-youth in 2026, aiming to progress up to youth in 2027 will seen in DPP.
We will deliver four non-residential camps for all three programmes at Dynamics Gymnastics Academy, Motherwell. Both PPP and NPP will attend an additional, combined two-day residential camp at the Inverclyde National Sports Centre in Largs.
Activity across all levels and environments remain athlete-centred, coach-led and performance driven. Gymnasts should experience an environment that allows them to enjoy and embrace challenges throughout the year. Plus, encourages them to work with their national and club coaches to maximise their development and competitive opportunities.
Congratulations to the selected gymnasts and their club coaches. Best wishes for the year of competition ahead.
