Acrobatics | Largest ever selection for Scotland in acrobatics for a GBR team
Four Scottish acrobatic partnerships have been selected to compete for Great Britain across the 2025 European Junior & Senior Championships and European Age Group Competition in Luxembourg.
Gemma Russell and Emma Logan will return for a second time to the European junior & senior championships, this time as a senior women’s group with Dynamic teammate Karla Hillcoat. Acrobay’s Scarlett Haldane, Emma Nelson and Ella Gracie (pictured above with fellow club teammates) will also compete in the championships level of competition, for the first time, over in the junior (13-19 years) category.
In the thirteenth edition of the European age group competition, two Scottish partnerships claimed the only available GBR slots for the Youth (12-18) category. Beth Gilroy, Lily Schoneville & Amelia Davidson from Dynamic will be joined by Acrobay trio Katie Hendry, Hannah Johnston & Roxie Kemp – both partnerships experienced on the international stage following their GBR selection to the Grand Prix in November last year.

The announcement of these groups is the largest ever selection of partnerships from Scotland to represent Great Britain in one team for acrobatics. Joining the gymnasts will be their personal coaches Michelle Diniz (Dynamic) and Suzanne Fraser (Acrobay) under GBR head coach Ian Said, our national technical lead for the discipline.
The 13th European Age Group Competition will take place first from the 8-13 April followed by the 32nd European Junior & Senior Championships on the 15-20 April respectively.
Congratulations to the gymnasts, coaches and their clubs on this momentous selection and best wishes in your preparations.
