Job Description

City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club are looking for keen and energetic coaches with experience coaching recreational gymnastics to join our team. Currently running several classes for various ages and abilities on a Saturday, a demand for more hours has been noted in feedback. The appropriate candidate would help this busy programme’s expansion into weeknights and further weekend hours.

Requirements

  • Level 2 (or above) in any gymnastics discipline
  • Scottish Gymnastics Membership
  • Up to date safeguarding qualification
  • PVG linked to the club (please be aware of recent changes to legislation)
  • Registered as self-employed

City of Glasgow is home to recreational child and adult gymnastics, competitive acrobatics, men’s and women’s artistic as well as disability classes in these disciplines, including disability rhythmic. Opportunity, if interested, to expand hours where possible across the groups and disciplines is always encouraged for personal development.

Travel information

  • 15 minute drive from Glasgow City Centre or Paisley Town Centre
  • 25 minute walk from Ibrox Subway Station (nearest station)
  • Accessible by bus with stops on Paisley Road West and Mosspark Boulevard
