Job Description

City of Glasgow Gymnastics Club are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic coach to oversee our women’s artistic preparation programme. In this role, you will be working alongside level 1/2 coaches to oversee the planning and personal development of approx. 13 gymnasts aged 5-8 years old.

Currently training up to 3x a week, this group is competing at floor & vault to classic challenge four piece level.

Requirements

  • Level 2 (or above) women’s artistic qualification
  • Confident and clear understanding of the women’s artistic competition pathway/structure
  • Scottish Gymnastics Membership
  • Up to date safeguarding qualification
  • PVG linked to the club (please be aware of recent changes to legislation)
  • Registered as self-employed

City of Glasgow is home to recreational child and adult gymnastics, competitive acrobatics, men’s and women’s artistic as well as disability classes in these disciplines, including disability rhythmic. Opportunity, if interested, to expand hours where possible across the groups and disciplines is always encouraged for personal development.

Travel Information

  • 15 minute drive from Glasgow City Centre or Paisley Town Centre
  • 25 minute walk from Ibrox Subway Station (nearest station)
  • Accessible by bus with stops on Paisley Road West and Mosspark Boulevard
