Job Description

Lasswade Gymnastics Club is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious men’s artistic level 2+ coach to join our team and help grow our men’s artistic section. This role is perfect for someone passionate about coaching gymnasts competing at club and performance levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging coaching sessions for gymnasts to the level of qualification.
  • Develop progressive session plans for the short- and long-term development of the gymnasts.
  • Attend competitions and events as required.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of Level 2 coaching qualification in Men’s Artistic (will consider an experienced L1 ready to move to L2), with a commitment to progress towards next Level.
  • Current Safeguarding and Protecting Children Certificate, and PVG.
  • Value and prioritise gymnasts’ happiness and well-being, while motivating and encouraging gymnasts to achieve new skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of the current MAG Pathways.
  • Passion for coaching gymnasts on competitive pathways.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, and individually.

Schedule

Flexible hours within our programme, which runs Tuesday to Thursday evenings, Friday afternoon/evening, and all-day Sunday.
