COV Awards 2023 | Alice Boucher awarded Young Coach of the Year
Alice Boucher was recognised at the annual Sportscotland Coaching, Officiating and Volunteering Awards hosted in Glasgow City Chambers on Thursday 2 November.
The awards celebrate those who have made a positive impact within their community or club and raised the profile of their sport. Alice Boucher received the Young Coach of the Year award at the event, presented by our Chief Executive Doc McKelvey. As head coach of acrobatics at Irvine Bay, Alice passes on the positive and uplifting experience that she had herself as a gymnast to younger generations.
On receiving the award, she said:
“I am so incredibly grateful and humbled by all the people here tonight and for me to be part of this evening.”
