Double Mini-Trampoline | Silver success in DMT for Great Britain at the 2025 Trampoline World Championships
Two Scottish gymnasts competed in double mini-trampoline at the 2025 World Trampoline Championships out in Pamplona, Spain last week.
Kim Beattie returned to the world stage for the first time in three years to compete it her fifth world championships. The Banchory gymnast qualified into the individuals’ semi-finals in eleventh place on day one of competition.
Before she took to the competition floor herself, the women’s team were up against the United States of America challenging for the team title. Kim alongside Molly McKenna (Northern Irish gymnast training at JUMP) with English teammates Kirsty Way and Emily Lock repeated their strong performances from qualifications to secure Great Britain the silver team medal.
Commenting to British Gymnastics following the round, Kim expressed:
“It was amazing, the full team gave their all and it was incredible. The atmosphere was amazing and I’m so proud of all the girls.”
To finish her fifth world championships on a high, Kim made it through to the final round of individual finals and finished eighth overall.
On the men’s side Ethan Cunningham from JUMP made his senior debut. In the team event Great Britain’s DMT men qualified in third but dropped to finish the competition in sixth.
