Glasgow 2026 | Young Coaches Event
Glasgow 2026 is hosting a young coaches event for young people aged 16 to 24 from sports across Scotland.
The event is part of the Youth Coaching Pathways Project funded by the Summer of Sport. It takes place during the Commonwealth Games at SWG3 in Glasgow on Monday 27 July from 9.30am to 4pm.
Fancy taking part? Participants can expect a fun, interactive day which includes:
- hands‑on learning and upskilling opportunities for young people interested in coaching and volunteering
- meeting and networking with sporting governing bodies, sportscotland and Commonwealth Sport
- connecting with other young people who share your passion for sport
The event is part of the Youth Coaching Pathways Project. The aim is to build long‑term pathways into working or volunteering in community sport. More programme details will be released when tickets go live soon.
