What are some of your favourite Gymfest memories?
I have so many….
- The ceilidh at every Inverness Gymfest. Dancing with my best gymnastics friend John Humpries
- The lying down game … this game went crazy online and so we completely covered the Gymfest floor at the Magnum
- Celebrating my 30th birthday at the Magnum Centre ( and almost every birthday)
- Putting together a gala routine for local schools in Ayrshire on the Friday afternoon. Giving lots of school kids the opportunity to perform in the Gymfest gala.
- Performing a gala routine with Inverness, Spartans and Dynamite ( s Avonside) to celebrate the friendships made at the World Gymnaestrada at Inverness Gymfest
- And so many more
Gymfest has been part of my life for so long and I know have the opportunity to give gymnasts the same experience I have had. The friendships I have made through Gymfest are still going strong. Every gymnast should have this opportunity.
