Acrobatics & Rhythmic | Scots win seven medals at the 2026 Acrobatic, Aerobic and Rhythmic British Championships
Acrobay trio strike gold at the 2026 Acrobatic, Aerobic and Rhythmic British Championships. Plus, a further silver and five bronze medals won across acrobatics and rhythmic at the Telford International Centre over the weekend.
Acrobatics
Katie Hendry, Hannah Johnston and Roxie Kemp held their place at the top from the qualifications to finals. The Acrobay trio were crowned the junior women’s group champions following a finals score of 28.700. Dynamic’s Beth Gilroy, Lily Schoneville and Ashtyn Wong joined them on the podium to take the bronze medal in the same category.
In the youth category, women’s group Imara Beattie, Arianna Bwanali and Lily McHale (Acrobay) routines brought them home the silver medal. Dynamic’s Nathan Boyle & Jamielee McNab improved their qualifications placings to finish third in the youth mixed pairs category, taking bronze.
The following women’s pairs finished top eigth in their respective age categories:
- Youth | Scarlett Anderson & Luna Stevenson – Acrobay | fourth
- Pre-youth | Summer Findlay & Nosa Idehen – Acrobay | eigthth
Rhythmic
Scottish national senior champion, Cara Mackay (Evoke) qualified into all four finals available at these championships. From there she won three bronze medals for ball, hoop and ribbon, and finished sixth for clubs respectively.
