British Gymnastics Foundation | Hardship grants partnership
Scottish Gymnastics and British Gymnastics Foundation have partnered to help more gymnasts in Scotland benefit from hardship grants.
Scottish Gymnastics has donated £10,000 to the hardship grants programme to enable more Scottish Gymnastics members to benefit. These grants are used to help gymnasts stay involved in the sport through times of significant financial difficulties.
In this round, and beyond, Scottish Gymnastics will provide 50% of the funding for the grants. The other 50% will come from British Gymnastics Foundation. This will allow double the number of Scottish Gymnastics members access to the money.
You can apply for the next hardship grant from Monday, 3 November until Sunday, 9 November 2025.
As part of your application, your club’s head coach, club manager or safeguarding officer will need to endorse you to get access to a grant. We advise that you establish who this will be before starting your application. This person then may be contacted about your application between Monday, 10 November and Sunday, 16 November 2025.
Applications will be reviewed later in the month, with the view that grants will be paid out before Christmas.
