Scottish Gymnastics Extends Partnership with Gymnova
Scottish Gymnastics has secured a new seven-year deal with their equipment sponsor Gymnova.
Gymnova, manufacturers of gymnastics equipment and apparatus, first sponsored the sport’s Scottish governing body in 2014 and this extension takes the partnership through two Olympic cycles to 2025. The increased support is in line with the growth in gymnastics and quality competition across Scotland.
The world leaders in their field, Gymnova were the official gymnastics equipment provider at London 2012 and Glasgow 2014 and their products are currently being used at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow.
Clubs in Scotland are set to benefit from the event being held in this country, as they have had the opportunity to buy the apparatus and equipment being used at the SSE Hydro at reduced rates, allowing their gymnasts to be inspired from training on the same pieces as the top gymnasts in Europe.
Phillip Wattleworth, Managing Director of Gymnova UK, said: “Following the incredible success of the current partnership, we are delighted to announce this extension to 2025 and look forward to working closely with Scottish Gymnastics over the next seven years.”
Chief Executive of Scottish Gymnastics, Euan Lowe, added: “It is great to work with Gymnova in a strengthened partnership which will benefit the sport in Scotland.
“It means we can offer gymnasts the chance to compete on the best equipment possible as we look to expand the talent pool and develop Scottish gymnasts to British and World performance levels.”
