Trampoline, Tumbling & DMT | Scottish success at the 2026 British Championships
Six medals won by Scots at the Trampoline, Tumbling & DMT British Championships and National Age Group Finals 2026.
The best in Britain started their competition on Saturday with the national age groups finals across the three disciplines. Scores from this event were then used to determine which gymnasts progressed to the British championships hosted on the Sunday at Telford International Centre.
Double Mini-Trampoline
Scottish senior men’s champion, Ethan Cunningham claimed gold in the men’s senior age group finals. The JUMP gymnast, selected last month to represent Great Britain at the upcoming World Championships, then finished seventh in Sunday’s British final.
Grace Hegarty (pictured above) from Dynamite had a phenomenal weekend as she earned the women’s national age 10 champion title. The young gymnast went on to compete in the junior category in the British finals finishing eighth.
JUMP gymnast and Northern Irish representative, Molly McKenna claimed silver in the women’s senior national age groups. World’s teammate and reigning Scottish women’s champion Kim Beattie (Marriotts) joined her on the podium, just 0.4 behind in score, to take the bronze. Molly then returned to the podium on day two to be crowned the women’s senior champion for the third year in a row.
In the men’s 15-16 category, Oliver Rotchford’s two passes earned him the national age group bronze. In the British finals he then finished just outside of the medals, placing fourth in the junior men’s competition.
Trampoline
Newly crowned Scottish senior men’s champion Keir Davidson qualified himself in fifth to the British finals. He then soared to success, claiming the men’s senior silver medal.
Scotia’s Sarah Gallacher returned to the synchronised competition with English gymnast Gabby Moorhouse from Kirklees. The reigning champions successfully defended their title, earning gold once again with their score of 44.35.
