Tumbling | 2025 Scottish Champions named at Ravenscraig
Gymnasts from across Scotland competed to be crowned the 2025 Scottish national tumbling gymnastics champions at Ravenscraig Regional Sport Centre, Motherwell.
Dynamite dominated in the FIG levels of the competition as their gymnasts claimed four out of the five titles on offer. Ellie Miller tumbled to the top spot in the women’s 17-21 category. While Joshua Mawuena’s (pictured above) strong runs earned him the title over in the men’s 15-16 competition. Summer Doohan and Lindani Ndlovu each brought home gold in the female 11-12 and age 10 categories respectively.
Earning the fifth gold, Evie Ross (Dundee) won the women’s 13-14 medal. The medalists named above, with the exception of Lindani, will represent Scotland this October. They’ll be part of the thirty strong trampoline, DMT and tumbling delegation heading out to the Loulé Cup, Portugal. Speaking after today’s competition, Ellie Miller commented on the topic of the international:
“I’d really like to upgrade all of my runs, skills on track and end skills too, to help me do well at Loulé.”
The following gymnasts won gold in their respective age group at regional 4 level:
15+ – Emily Brown | Dynamite
13-14 – Abbie Macleod | Dynamite
11-12 – Sophie Turner | Dynamite
9-10 – Hallie Murphy | Dynamite
Congratualtions to all the gymnasts and clubs that competed in today’s championships.
