Tumbling | Performance programmes selection 2023-24
Twenty-eight tumbling gymnasts have been selected to join the Scottish Gymnastics performance programmes for the 2024 period.
The gymnasts were selected following assessment of their technical skills and physical preparation of elements at a profiling day. They will attend camps with their personal coaches which are led by national technical leads supported by assistant leads and physical preparation experts.
Scottish Gymnastics’ tumbling performance programmes work towards providing clear opportunities across all levels to drive the development of both athletes and coaches onto the British Gymnastics pathway. Our athlete-centred, coach-led and performance driven programme is based on a culture of providing a supportive environment for gymnasts to thrive, to embrace challenges and setbacks as well as taking ownership of their training and their development.
