Two medals won by artistic Scottish gymnasts at the 2026 Slovakia Open and numerous top eighth finishes on Saturday 27 June.
West Lothian’s Kyle Millar earned the silver medal in the men’s artistic senior all-around competition. Daniel Smyllie from City of Birmingham joined him on the podium in third place.
Medals were not awarded for individual apparatus at this competition, if they had been Scotland would have brought home a further eight medals across men’s and women’s. Each gymnast representing Scotland all finished top eighth in one event or more:
Men’s artistic
- Aaron Convery – Hamilton | pommel second, eighth all-around
- Andrew Dickie – Hamilton | rings and high bar third, fourth all-around
- Daniel Smyllie – City of Birmingham | all-around and pommel third
- Kyle Millar – West Lothian | floor first, all-around and vault second
Women’s artistic
- Cassie Taylor – Corby | beam sixth
- Eilidh Gorrell – City of Glasgow | floor third, all-around and beam fourth, bars sixth
- Hannah Paterson – Hamilton | vault second, sixth all-around
- Nina Deery – Sheffield Workshop | vault fourth, all-around and floor fifth, bars seventh
