About Gymfest

Gymfest is one of the UK’s premier non-competitive gymnastics display festivals and one of the most popular events on the Scottish Gymnastics calendar.

This annual non-competitive, professionally run event was first held over 30 years ago to promote gymnastics for all regardless of age, gender, race and ability. Everyone is invited to enter Gymfest from the beginner to the advanced gymnast.

Our focus is on giving performers the opportunity to display their talents to their family, friends and other gymnasts in a stress-free and enjoyable setting. Gymfest encompasses the sheer enjoyment and appreciation of the sport that so many people have.

For the first time in 2017, Gymfest is being held in Aberdeen after a 12-year residency at The Magnum Centre Irvine. Each year approximately 1500 gymnasts, 300 coaches, 50 volunteers and 3000 spectators travel from across the UK to enjoy this extravaganza. The festival is getting bigger and better each year and we would encourage everyone to come along and watch the spectacular performances.

Gymfest has become tremendously popular with very high demand for the limited number of places. To offer an alternative opportunity for teams who may not have been able to perform at Gymfest in Irvine, Gymfest Perth was founded. Held in Bell's Sports Centre, Gymfest Perth is now another major fixture with over 40 teams taking part.
