Acrobatics | New pathway training from 2025
The Acrobatics pathway training is being introduced to deliver coach development focused sessions. This is to support more clubs to develop partnerships being selected onto the performance pathway.
The sessions will deliver content aligned to Brilliant Basics which will focus on fundamental skills within acro, supporting coaches with an aspiration of developing partnerships progressing through the national development plan (NDP) levels and onto the FIG pathway.
The fun and inspiring sessions delivered by our development programme lead coach, Michelle Diniz, will focus on basics such as preps and shaping for both tops and bases in pairs and trios and bring her experience of developing partnerships to a world level.
There are two different levels of sessions, each with a different focus that can be read in the eligibility section of the programme information document. Coaches that are working with grade 4 & youth partnerships’ sessions will take place between 9.30am-12.30pm and coaches working with grade 5 partnerships’ sessions will take place between 1.00pm-4.00pm.
Coaches can book onto the sessions using our online booking system along with the partnerships they are working with. Bookings are on a first come first served basis and when maximum numbers are reached bookings will be closed. Bookings will open on Monday 9 December for the first session on 19 January 2025.
