Artistic | New regional pathway coaches appointed for 2025
Four new coaches have been appointed to deliver our women’s artistic regional pathway sessions across Scotland in 2025.
A recent restructure has taken place to support the progress and demand across all levels of the women’s artistic programme. Our regional pathway sessions are for gymnasts aged seven to nine years who meet the desired criteria, at these sessions there is also variety of topics covered focusing on ‘brilliant basics’ to support the development of upcoming coaches across Scotland.
After a number of applications of a high caliber and standard, we are delighted to have appointed four women’s artistic regional pathway coaches. They will be essential in supporting the delivery of this programme alongside our current artistic pathway development coaches and national technical leads.
- Chloe Allan | North region
- Sarah Scott | West region
- Keri Chambers & Lucy Orr | East region
Stephen Tonge will continue to lead the men’s artistic regional pathway programme with all regions combined training in the East.
We were delighted to see such interest and eagerness to support the pathway and will continue to strive to create opportunities for the strong team of aspiring coaches we have within our programmes.
Our first regional pathway sessions of 2025 take place this weekend with our first coaching clinic covering handstands, physical preparation and bar basics for women’s artistic. With physical preparation, handstand and pommes for men’s artistic. Spaces are filling fast and bookings close Thursday 16 January at 4pm.
Congratulations to those appointed and best wishes to the coaches and gymnasts attending the these sessions throughout the year.
