Artistic | Performance Programmes Selections 2023-24
Artistic gymnasts have been selected to join the Scottish Gymnastics performance programmes for the 2023-24 period.
Forty-four women’s artistic gymnasts and thirty-eight men’s artistic gymnasts were named after a profiling day in Inverclyde. The national performance programme (NPP) athletes will attend joint camps led by national technical leads Marius Gherman and Becki Campbell. Scott Hann will provide support as technical director. Three of these camps will be held in Inverclyde with one taking place in South Essex.
Marius Gherman will lead all men’s artistic performance pathway programme (PPP) camps with additional experts being brought in throughout the year. The women’s artistic performance pathway programme camps will be led by technical lead Ross Falsetta with Becki Campbell supporting. Four PPP camps will be held in Inverclyde with two camps being joint men’s and women’s.
Our athlete-centred, coach-led and performance driven programme is based on a culture of providing a supportive environment for gymnasts to thrive, to embrace challenges and setbacks as well as taking ownership of their training and their development.
