DMT World Age Groups 2023 | Four Scots selected
Four Scottish athletes and one coach have been selected for the 2023 FIG Trampoline, DMT and Tumbling World Age Group Competitions.
All four Scots will be competing in double mini-trampoline for Great Britain. Ethan Cunningham, Fraser McLeod and Paige Russell are all from JUMP, which is testament to their coach Debi McPhee.
This will be Fraser’s first appearance at the world age groups since he finished sixth in the 15 – 16 men’s category in 2017. Ethan was selected for last year’s event but had to withdraw due to injury. It will be his and Paige’s first competition at this level.
Ava Fettes will be making her fourth appearance at the world age groups, having first competed in 2019. She is coached by Scottish DMT national technical lead Melanie Stewart-Wills who is also selected as part of the GB delegation.
The event takes place at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham between 16 and 19 November. Congratulations on your selection and we look forward to seeing you compete!
