Double-Mini Trampoline | 2024 European Championships Silver Success
Two Scottish gymnasts represented Great Britain at the 29th Trampoline European Championships hosted in Guimãraes, Portugal with incredible success.
Paige Russell dominated the top of her categories table in qualifiers, securing her place in Sunday’s final. She performed two successful runs; the first being a half out, full full followed by a second made up of a half out full in straight. Going clean she earned a place on the podium and brought home the silver medal in the junior women’s double-mini trampoline competition.
Ethan Cunninghan put out two runs, with his first scoring a strong 18.400, where he finished 18th in the men’s senior competition. His performance contributed to the Great Britain men’s team score, which allowed them to progress to the finals, where they finished just outside of the medals in fourth.
Congratualtions to both gymnasts, their coach and club for another international competition.
