Rhythmic | National and Performance Pathway Programmes Selection 2023-24
Twenty-seven rhythmic gymnasts have been selected to join the Scottish Gymnastics performance programmes for the 2023-24 period.
Following a profiling day where ballet, flexibility and physical preparation elements were assessed, thirteen of the gymnasts were newly selected into performance programme.
The group, senior, junior and espoir programmes are delivered alongside each other, with some elements delivered jointly and others separately. Camps will be led by a variety of technical experts, excellent support for both gymnasts and their personal coaches.
The programme is based on a culture of providing a supportive environment for gymnasts to thrive, to embrace challenges and setbacks as well as taking ownership of their training and their development. Our approach is an athlete centred, coach led and performance driven.
Congratulations to the selected gymnast and their personal coaches. We look forward to following their progress into and throughout the new year.
