Scott Hann MBE is New National Technical Advisor
Scottish Gymnastics are pleased to announce Scott Hann MBE as the National Technical Advisor for the Men’s Artistic National Performance Programme (NPP)
Scott, personal coach to Olympic and World Champion Max Whitlock, has been a strong driving force in our Pathway Performance Programme as well as a key figure in mentoring coaches on the regional pathway programme for both the Men’s and Women’s artistic disciplines. There will also be the opportunity for both gymnasts and coaches in the NPP to benefit from camps in the world class training environment at South Essex gymnastics club, where Scott is Director of Coaching
Scottish Gymnastics Performance Manager, Jamie Bowie, is excited about the appointment. He said: “It is really exciting to have Scott take on the lead of the National Performance Programme.
He continued: “Scott has been supporting Scottish Gymnastics in his role as National Pathways Advisor helping to shape a number of our programmes. Over the last few years the NPP has developed into a strong programme under Paul Hall’s MBE leadership, supporting and developing both gymnasts and coaches.. With Scott Hann taking over the reigns the programme will continue to go from strength to strength.”
